ExperienceI have a Bachelor's Degree in Astrophysics from Franklin and Marshall College. I am passionate about sharing information with others. I am especially interested in astronomy and physics. My passion for those subjects and my desire to share information with others led me to decide to become a teacher. In addition to astronomy and physics, I am also comfortable tutoring students in electricity and magnetism, chemistry, computer science, languages, physical science, algebra, and Hebrew. I can also assist students with preparing for the SAT and the SAT subject tests. I am also available to tutor students in AP physics courses. My philosophy as a tutor involves using positive reinforcement. In my experience, positive reinforcement helps students gain confidence in themselves. My favorite part of teaching is the moment when something finally clicks for my students and they understand a concept that they've previously struggled with. My goal is to ensure that every student I interact with gains a better understanding of each subject we cover and in turn learns more about the world around them as well. Outside of academia, I enjoy reading comic books, playing video games, and playing board games.
